The weather is getting warmer, we rocked out at Rock the Coast, and now we are heading out for a V-A-C-A-T-I-O-N. Our Plan is for a one week media fast. No TV, no facebook, and even limited cell phone. Just scheduled check in phone appointments and a "don't call unless you see blood" policy goes into effect. But as we tour accross MI, we will be listening to JQ for as long as the signal allows.
First stop is Frankenmuth and I will be hitting Bronner's Christmas Store, so I think Chris will be open to listening to a little Christmas music on the way.
We will be back on Tues. June 1st, but in the meantime "Mele Kalikimaka"!

Every Day is a FUN DAY

That Was Wierd!
Your trapped in a tin can and all "s" sounds are now suspiciously absent. No it's not a nightmare, it'a a day in the life of Chris & Emilee. Got some new microphones in the studio this morning, but they were definitely not working properly. As one listener said "Chris, I didn't recognize your voice until you laughed. I thought you were someone else".
Chris sounded like he was in a tin can and every "s" sound I made fell silent, making it sound like a bad lisp. I never realized how difficult it would be to communicate if just one letter in our beloved alphabet were to disappear. I felt like Daffy Duck this morning.
"Thunny thkieth with tempth in the upper theventeeth".
But, like my ever positive husband reminds me: "If this is the worst problem we has all day, it's going to be a GREAT day"!

Well, it's Tuesday and I think we have recovered from the West MI tour of the Big Night Out. It usually takes a few days and a few naps. Five, to be exact, between Chris and I on Sunday afternoon alone. But it is one of those "good kind of tired". We had such a great time getting to meet the people who came out to the show. Darin Streblow gave his usual killer performances, ending the tour with a standing ovation. Thanks to everyone who came out.

Babs and Scooter Update

This morning we got to the station to quite a site. Outside the studios, Babs had a trail of babies waddling behind her. And what a trail it was. 23 baby ducks in all. I have never seen so many ducklings with one duck. Of course, Scooter is nowhere in site. Thinkin' either Babs is providing daycare or scooter's going to be working overtime with a brood this large.
